How to punish your Bull Terrier puppy

You must use your voice tone if you want your puppy to obey your wishes if he don't listen to you tap is hindquarters lightly with a paper or a newspaper. Do not use your hands; because it is there to love and praise him. If you use your hands to punish the puppy he will get confuse, because everything that he needs to make him happy is given by the hand. If you see that the puppy or dog don't listen don't wait to punish him because he will get confuse so do it when you see he do something bad. When you see that he remorse starts to play with him and give him some love.

The Bull Terriers puppies meeting the outside wolrd.

Don't let your puppy go on the street first let him get used to the noise at home first like the vacuum cleaner the polisher and the washing machine and dishwasher. If they get used to the noise don't let them run freely around outside. Strange noise like cars, bikes and other stranger noise can put the puppy self-confidence a severe setback. Do not try to expose the puppy to many noises at a time. Don't introduce your puppy to all your friends at one time do it individually it give the puppy most self-confidence and he will get more used to bigger groups people. Let him get used to people stroke him and play with him because if you take him for a walk people want to stroke him. The puppy happiness and is wellbeing depends on you how you take care of him.

If the dog is used to the caller you can put on a light lead on the collar, but don't pull or drag the lead impatiently if the dog refuses to walk with you. If puppies come together, you must remove the collar because they can strangle one another. You must put a name tag on your dog’s collar. First look at the Safety of the Bull Terrier.

In house today it is very difficult to keep the puppies away from carpets because it is an open plan but you can use child proof gates to get the dog at one area. You must put on a security gate to keep the dog save from any danger in or out the house. If you don't have a fenced you must one up. It must be 1.5 meter high. It will help to keep your dog in your yard. If you want to put in kennel in your yard and you love to garden then you must fence off a part of your yard were you want to put the kennel. When you go out for the day you can put the dog in the kennel so he can do his things, but you can't leave him there if you are there because the dog needs companionship.

If you give your puppy a bone doesn’t leave him or her alone with the bone because puppies can easily choke. Give your dog Nylon bones they are very good for the dogs. It keeps the dogs teeth clean and it is saving for any dog big or small.
You can give your dog a big marrow bones also, but not other types of bones, because they have very strong jaws and the bones can splinter, and cause serious damage. A Bull Terrier can easy get impatient and try to swallow the bone in. There are many Bull Terrier death of choked on a bone.

Documentation

If you collect your puppy make sure that you get the registration documents. It will save you a lot of time and you don't have to make unnecessary calls. Only the breeders can register the puppies.

Care and Accommodation

When the puppy leaves the breed he will be helpless and will depend on you to take care of him or her. He will disturb your peace and disrupt your household before established a routine.

Sleeping Arrangements

In the start let the puppy sleep in the kitchen or near your room. You can just a large cardboard box, and later you can replace when it is necessary. The dog's need their own bed like a kennel, box or crate, because they feel a lot saver in their own bed. There must be space in the kennel and make sure it can take your dog's weigh because in a years’ time they can weigh 25kg to 30kg. Use blankets to keep them warm. Make sure the blankets are dry every day and clean.

House Training

Place newspapers from his box to the kitchen door he will almost be house trained. To learn your puppy takes him or her outside to relieve him immediately after waking. If you take him or her out use the same spot. If your dog gets it right to go outside then give them a generous praise. Let your dog move in and out with the back door through the day. Your dog will learn to wake you up if they want to go out the night.

Feeding Arrangements

Get a good place for the food bowl and water bowl were no one will knocked the bowls over. Place a plastic mat under the bowls so if the dog had drop some food it is easily to clean it. Plastic bowls is not good idea for all if there is no food in because the puppies will play with it and they can maybe swallow a piece in and it is very dangerous. Don’t left to food on the ground if they are finished eating because it can get dust on it or it can attract flies also. You can give your puppy a dog biscuit or a rusk to eat before his bed time.

The temperament of the dog

When you choice a puppy takes someone with you that knows the breed or someone that have bred with them. In the beginning all the puppies will steel your hart and you want all of the puppies. It is when you need some advice from someone. When the breeder and the puppies impress you and the adviser you can then choice your puppy.

I going to give you some tips the help you make a better choice.

The Age of the dog.

When you choice a puppy it is usually between six and eight weeks. It is a big risk if you want a show dog because the puppy can look good at this age, but may never develop into anything grander than a pet.

The Gender of the dog

If you select a puppy take the puppy away from the mother because the puppy will look bigger and more 'flashy".

Select a puppy that is happy. Inquisitive and a puppy that is fat with a short back and good substance. If you see a puppy that is shy and nervous don't pity them, because they will maybe not adapt the rest of the family. It will not be suitable for show dog and they can develop into an aggressive dog.

The Faults

https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTN_6yznluEqbh_B3xZ1XZ6Iy4yLlw_6WBWO2oHu1USDPyQxdq4
Do not choose puppies that have mismarked, but if they have other qualities that is outstanding you can choose them. Avoid also the puppies that have inferior fronts and feet that turn in or out.

The Build of the dog

Look to the shoulders and chest of the puppy. The shoulder of the puppies must protrude from the shoulder. The neck of the puppy must be long. The six week old puppy must be square. The front legs must be as long and must be equal both the wide of the chest and the length of the back legs. If the body is short with a deep chest and if it reaches the elbow it will never transform into a narrow, long legged dog. Look for a short back well bent stifles and short hocks. This is good qualities to look for, but it is not easy to find.
Cow hocks are inclined by puppies when they are constantly on their hind legs trying to peep over a fence or barrier. It is naturally because the hindquarters get stronger and with the proper exercise.

The eyes of a puppy
A Bull Terrier eyes are never round it is triangular and must be dark.

The head of the puppy
The head of the puppy must be the deciding factor of choosing a puppy. It must be well filled, with no dip in the bridge of the nose.

The bite of a puppy
It is difficult to tell how the bite will develop at an age of six to eight weeks.  The upper jaw must be protruding at this stage to left enough space for the growth of the lower jaw. The goal is to select a puppy that his bite is not level in three months. They lose their milk teeth at four months.

Choosing A New Puppy Bull Terrier

Step one

Look was the best breeders are where they are located. Shows are important here. You can see how is the winners and you can start study their characteristics and as well their owners character. When you decided on a dog, you will see it is very expensive for the breed. You must remember that you pay for the breeder's expertise, in producing healthy well-shaped, good natured puppies, as free from faults as possible.

Step two

Explain to the breeder how your home look likes to see if you home can accommodate a Bull Terrier.

Step Three

If you can meet both of the puppy parents. If the parent’s appearance and temperament impress you a lot how better is it for you. The breeders always looking for a good home for the puppies were the puppies will be receive love and discipline. Some people only want a Bull Terrier, but they don't train the dog or give them the care they need, so they return the dog back and blame the dog or the breeder for the problem. Sometimes the dog will then suffer a succession of owners and don't get suitable home for the dog and they start to get aggressive temperament.

Step Four

Talk to the whole family and tell them what are their responsibilities, like food, playing with the dog. If everybody know what is there task and accept it you can get a puppy.
